Absinthe makes the heart (stomach) growl fonder...:

I'm a beer drinker, and pretty moderately at that. Last weekend, I got the oppurtunity to try Absinthe-just out of curiosity. I ended up spewing a glowing green fountain most of the night (apart from sleeping on the bathroom floor). I don't think I'll ever eat Good 'n' Plenty's again...   I'm getting too old for that.

"I'm gonna tell mom on you!" (Still works after all these years!):

I had mentioned before that my sister was withholding pictures from me...so I told on her! I went straight to my mother, and the next thing I know, I receive a mysterious disc-with an apology letter. Still didn't get very many, but I've posted some of the "new" pics on my profile page.
I also "reloaded" (BANG!) some of my older songs-a whole bunch in fact. I'm going to load up some newer tracks...when I get them switched to mp3.

And now, a question: When you think of THEATRICAL musicians or bands, who do you think of? Off the top of my head, I can name four: Peter Gabriel, Styx, KISS and Meatloaf. I'm not so much talking dance routines, necessarily, but more of "acting out the songs" or maybe some kind of structured performance...WHO DO YOU THINK OF?

Really?

That's very surprising...I've never had the chance (or the $) to see the Stones, but it doesn't seem their style...at least not, to me. Is there a good live concert DVD that demonstrates this, by chance?

Man....I love those open G licks that Keith Richards churns out.

He still sounds great despite all the drug problems and blood transplants......

I've seen the Stones. Was a good show but nothing theatrical about it at all.

Alice Cooper & Kiss would be the two top in my book. Though just watching Geddie Lee playing with both hands and his feet was pretty freakin cool.

The first time I saw the stones they had a concave mirror the length of the stage and the spot lights would reflect off it making a fantastic backdrop.

Very cool....very theatrical....
