It's funny, but I used to play a lot of 12-string, & I got very tired of the clanging-chord sounds of the thing. This would have sounded much better if he'd played a simple 6-string, imho, & had someone plinking softly with the 12 in the background.

I'm a Dave Mason fan from way back, and I've seen him a couple of times.
Very talented, and the guy sitting next to him, Jimmy Kreiger, is a phenomenal guitar player....
