I write poetry / lyrics, is there room for that here or am I in the wrong place.
It would be a blast to hear my lyrics in a song, I'm sure you all got that covered but as I said am I in the wrong place ?

This is as good a place as any. I'm sure there are many people here who have trouble coming up with lyrics. There has to be opportunities on Bandmix and many other websites to offer your services as a lyricist. Elton John wouldn't have been Elton John without Bernie Taupin IMO. You should put this same post under various applicable Bandmix headings. Good luck and thanks for posting.
