Hey MrmikeV,

Just wondered if ACA agency was still around...We booked through them 78-81 or so playin all over S. Wisconsin...Kenosha, Racine, Janesville, most memorable gigs come to mind...Had an absolute blast...I was young in 78 and couldnt believe you could walk down the main drag there in Milwaukee and hit a bar every 50 ft....During the day ,we would go in a bar drink 2 beers put a quarter in the jukebox, listen to 3 tunes, leave and hit the next one and do that all day..Do they still have live music at the Ramada downtown? I havent seen the city since we played there.Hope you guys still have a robust music scene...Just reminiscing a bit.

Rock on ,

John in WV.

to tell ya the honest truth, I just moved here. I lived here for two or three years b4 when I was in college, moved away to LA and back to GB and back to LA and back to GB(you get the picture). Yeah there are still a lot of bars! I have confirmed that! My fav place has always been the up and under. I've watched a lot of good acts come and go through there. Great sound to that place. AFA music scene - it's no trip to hollywood, but summerfest is the best music festival I've ever been to -hands down. I'll never forget seeing bob dylan and paul simon for free! You got greg coch and rev raven, then agian GB has the blues weasels. It's all good.

I hear ya, I was spoiled when I lived in LA... you can't throw a dime in that city w/o hitting an awesome drummer, bassplayer, singer, keyboardist. And they were all top notch players. I remember this comedy band "2 funky jews" - good guys (adam and marvin if yer out there!) - super funy: and fantastic musicians. Miss playing with drummers who can play odd meters and screw me all up. NO offence milwaukee - there are some great musicians here, but just fewer of them.
