A new way to approach these volatile threads/rants

Lads, we could fill outer space with all this back & forth
bickering on Religion, Liberals,Conservatism etc.
I suggest a flowchart.
A flowchart that folks should consult before delving into the minutia of political & religious wrangling.
It would walk the user through some basic questions that would in the end, decipher what the person's worldview really is: and then, based on the result, the interested parties can see if there's even enough ground upon which to base a rational discussion.
I'm guessing that if we could establish what everyone's worldviews are, that we'd rapidly figure out that we really don't see eye to eye enough to talk about these thorny issues.
I could be wrong.
Example:
q. "Do you believe in God?"
If Y then: q. Which God?
If God="Jesus" then
q. Do you believe in the practice of Socialism as defined by...."
something along those lines: but all nice & pretty with bubbles, pointers, etc

well bandmix doesn't police this forum ... like other forum that don't allow Religion, Politics ...etc. So it will just keep going on this way

I'm not sure a flowchart would make a difference. People will always find SOMETHING to get upset about.

I can usually tell just from the title of the thread whether I want to read further, let alone participate. You don't like the thread title don't read it, and for God's sake (pun intended) don't participate!

Oh cmon, it's just people being people. This place is a
melting pot of opinions. If you really think about it that's
what attracts most of us wether we'll admit it or not.
I Love to see a good fight on here as much as an
interesting discussion. This forum is open to music minded
people with many other interests also. We are all just people with a
common denominator. MUSIC -- and bad spelling skills. I think those
that are upset about different topics that are touched on are torn
between entering the talk and doing battle with someone and
reading on the side line and forever holding their opinion to
themselves. No one bites here, they just BARK real loud.

In case you haven't noticed...I like to jump in with both feet, state & restate my views, refuse to give an inch, insult everyone who opposes me, &, in general, cause a big ruckus!

no...no actually if that were true, I would not reply to any of these divisive threads concerning religion/politics, and would put into practice the verse about wise folk holding their tongues....
but alas, I'm weak and too often like to be a pot-stirrer...
