I can't go in the place without spending a big chunk of change. Last night I picked the new Johnny Winter at Woodstock package, as well as Deep Purple live in concert '72-'73 (the same tour I saw) and The Who Live at Isle of Wight DVD's. I picked up Full Metal Jacket while I was at it; I love that movie.

I have the same problem with Cabella's. I think it's called lure-grip disease. I grab them and can't let them go until my Cabella's charge card is wrung up.

I envy you guys with records. Just caring about them makes it worthwhile.
Or am I missing something?

The Carvin and Midway USA websites are my downfall.

I used to blow a lot of money at independent record stores like the Record Collector. Most of them are gone now. I still spend a lot of time looking through thrift stores and garage sales for stuff, or on eBay.
I usually don't find what I want in big stores like Best Buy. Borders, maybe. I used to go there for DVDs all the time.
Mailorder was always my best friend. I collected shitloads of catalogs. I had a filing cabinet full of 'em!

I have an LP fetish I think. I Love listening to them.
I find many at Goodwill and such for $1.
