Steve swooned and dang near fell off his drum stool at our gig today.
Seems he woke up feeling weak and achy this morning and after about 7 - 8 songs it hit him like a brick.
Not a good day at all.

I hope he's feeling better. That's a rough go.

Thanks.
No history of DM that I know of. ( does sound like hypoglycemia though )
He was flushed, and weak as a kitten.
I hope it's not the flu.
Sorry to hear about your gig

Hope he is ok.
You'll be back and remember that which does not kill us makes us stronger.
Good Luck

The news ain't getting better yet.
Would seem Steve's wife dragged his butt to the hospital last night and he was admitted.
Diagnosis undetermined as of yet.
I spoke with him briefly, he still feels like crap, but in good spirits.

Not heard any news today. I hesitate to call the hospital, and be a pest.
Probably will anyway.

wow sorry to hear that George ...
We had a drummer drop dead in the middle of a song a couple of years ago. There was a paramedic in the crowd that ran up on stage and worked on him for 1/2 hour (he wouldn't let him die). The drummer was rush to hospital and had a tripple bypass ... close call .. he's doing great and back in the saddle
Then a bass player about 10 yrs ago ... wasn't feeling good at the gig. He finished off the gig and went home with his wife and died about an hour later sitting on the toilet ... massive heart attack
Be careful out there ... we're not a young as we once were

I hope you were not trying to make me feel better.
In all honesty I know your right man. Though Steve is decades younger than me and Eric.
I feel ok , I better check on Eric.

Well seems Steve is still in the hospital, possibly with some cellulitis.
His wife sent me a message to say that he was feeling some better but no idea of a possible discharge date.
Continued prayers and or good vibes for my friend and drummer please.
Thanks for all your support.
