So... I'm up real late studying... the old lady is up real late for no particular reason... she takes the car and goes to the gas station... comes back talks to me for about ten minutes... goes outside to smoke... hears a bunch of commotion... sees some mexican guy go running by her and tear off in a S.U.V. (that was parked next to the car)... walks out to the area to look around... and presto... my left front tire and rim are gone.
Cars stacked on a pile of boards.

And people think I'm nuts because I always wear a gun.
(even at home)

Problem is everyone knows the no-Justice system has gone liberal soft.

A man stealing from your property after dark in Texas can be legally shot.

Now, I'm not saying a car tire is worth a mans life, but criminals are capable of anything.

Thank God your wife is still safe.

Yeah, insurance might reimburse me for 50 bucks or so.
Deductible is $500.

Yep, she was fine. Safe.
But I had to all but yell at her to stay in the house and not to go snooping around after the police showed up.

Back in the muscle car era my father owned a garage and he sold Chrysler/Plymouths out of it. They had the Road Runners and they always had nice mag wheels on them, sometime he's buy a nice set to put a new car to sport it up.
I remember how many times I go out to the lot and find them setting on the ground with no wheels on them. The assholes would kick the jack out.

The only time I ever saw my father hit another person is when they caught on of the guys red handed. Smacked him good.

Republican congress and president then....

The in-justice system has been liberal soft a long time man.
Both parties are responsible for this foolishness.

The guiding principal used to be ( and should be ) you are responsible for your actions ... period.

Like the ever present insanity plea.

No sane man murders another.
Makes them no less responsible for their actions.

There should be no such thing as a "repeat offender" either when it comes to violent crime.

If you could read minds then there would be no problem. If the person's guilty, punish appropriately.

But you just can't go around killing people you don't like, or people who did something stupid because they were desperate.

As for the hardened criminals, if they are a threat to society, you gotta keep them locked up to keep them away from the decent people who play by the rules.....
As for the death penalty....they've already shown that it's not a deterrent, It just makes angry people feel better....

I'd shoot ya for stealing my used toothpick.

Don't steal near me, you'd rather lose the hand completely.
