To answer your question, our moderators remove musician classified posts from the forum. The forum is a place for open discussion on the industry and for musicians to share experiences. It is the only place on BandMix that is not dedicated to musician classifieds, so it can be a bit confusing.

Our search engine is far more effective. If you are looking for a drummer in Philadelphia for example, there is a slim chance anyone will happen to be reading the forum with that specific need. Try searching for your need here: http://bandmix.com/search/

Before implementing our policy, the forum became disorganized and under used. For a minute there I thought I was going nuts...more so than usual

Hope you will still use the forum. There aren't a ton of active users that post here but those who do are dedicated musicians that can be a great asset when you have questions or ideas.
