So I replaced my wife's phone, mine too, just worn out.
The phone co ships via Fed Ex. ( big mistake )
On the 11th they attempted to deliver but I was not home so they left a door tag. ( OK, that's cool needs a signature )
I sign the door tag like this instructions said and put it out on my door.

On the twelfth ... still no package.
I call, and Fed Ex said they could not find my house.

Can't find my house?? How did you put up the door tag.
Driver can't find your house. THEN HOW DID I GET THIS DOOR TAG ?? Driver can't find your house.
Call the 800 number they, call the local office that uses an unpublished private number?? No one answers.

So here it is the 14th ... door tag still on my door ... dumb asses.

UPS delivers stuff out here all the time without a hitch, different drivers whatever ... no problem.

Fed Ex sucks

I got tired of delivery services losing my packages too. I have a private mail box at one of those Mail Box stores. The owner allows companies to ship packages to the store and holds them for us there. I haven't lost a package since. Also not a bad idea to have letters sent there as well. Much more secure way to get the mail...

hunh, fedex usually does a lot beter than UPS and USPS for me. speedier delivery, better hiding (Really. UPS Put a box with "Epiphone" written down the side out on my front porch, right in the middle, where you can't miss it driving down the street. Fedex puts em behind a plant. I'm looking for a package, I see it. People walking down the street don't.) and a better tracking system (UPS lost a package in shipment for 2 1/2 weeks.)

I think its mostly a lazy ass local office thats the problem
But how can one run a business when your satalites have "private" numbers and wont even answer the corporate phone, or return calls.

These guy n gals are lucky I'm not the regional manager.
I'd fire em all on the spot.

UPS leaves stuff on my porch when I'm not home. All my musical gear, hundreds of dollars in ammo ETC.

But my place is 50 yards off the road behind trees. They set my boxes beside my three BIG dogs.

The drivers identify my place by looking for the red Jeep and the "guy with the gun on his hip".

The BS saga continues:

Today the driver whom "could not find my house" two days in a row,
( but mysteriously somehow left a door tag on the 11th )
delivered one of the two packages. And when my wife asked where the second package was rather tersely told her there was only one package, even after being shown the packing information that was clearly marked 1 of 2.
And made no attempt to reconcile the situation.

When I contacted the retailer whom shipped the packages and she contacted Fud Ex she was told that one of the packages was marked "delivered" and the second was returned as "undeliverable" on the same day.
When she ( the retail representative ) determined that I sought only resolution and was not angry with her, could not contain her giggling about how stupid these people are.

Anyway, to her credit she told me she would ship me another phone overnight via a different carrier at my request.

It's a good thing I guess ... I seem to be out of claymores .

I had a small issue with UPS one time, but their driver did back flips through his ass to rectify the situation.

Fud Ex just seemed to not care ... going through the motions, just half ass.

Poorly managed.

I'll admit that Fed Ex takes forever, and usually don't deliver on schedule, but the UPS porch business is not cool either.

It depends on who the delivery person is too. I do favor UPS still.

I really think it's a local office issue.
The ladies I have spoken with via the corporate phone have been great.

USPS is muuucccchhhh worse.

They can't or won't use a phone, internet or even a GPS.
