I think he's a bloody genius!

He was the main dude in Not Drowning, Waving, as well as My Friend The Chocolate Cake, two of my very favorite Australian bands.

Never heard the guy before listening to him gets high without smoking or ingesting anything, he treads on grounds I've never been.

I can only say wow so cool.

He's really very political, but the politics are very subdued by the musical tone, usually. He uses a lot of aboriginal influences in his works, which I love. His world beat-ish stuff doesn't stick with a droney groove, either, which I also find very attractive.

I was hoping that Chippy would try this out. I'll bet it'd be right up his alley, & might even inspire him a bit.

Very Interesting. how did you come by him Phil?
I think he's in the mold of many artists these days in as much that vocals are left behind, when there are some great messages. I mean Phil, >>> tonalities. Music and songs are superb, its the drone that bothers me.

Heck we've had enough of drones :D
I like it, I will look out for him too. Great artist, knows, what he wants to do, and is doing it,
Marvellous.

Thanks Philby.

Drones, huh? LOL

Okay, try out his newer band, My Friend The Chocolate Cake.

Now, you might think this one is "droney," but I think it gets the musical message across quite well through the repetition of that one singer in "Sing Sing." Quite powerful, imho. This was from his band Not Drowning, Waving.
