ON the flight BA 189 from Heathrow departing (/19/2010 2:30 PM arriving to Newark @6:30PM I flew with Ronnie Wood, didn’t know while in flight he was on board, he was in business class I was in coach.
I saw him at the baggage claim with faded jeans and sweater with his girl friend 1/3 his age.
Who cares right? But I have to tell the story how often one runs into a Rolling Stones guitar player.
Googled his name to find out why he was in the states, Wood got invited by an Art Museum in Ohio for an Art exhibit.
Now I can go back to my uneventful life.

Yes greatness and I have been traveling on parallel lines never been able to intersect it.
You can’t always get what you want (The Rolling stones)

I think that's cool brother!
I used to be Director of Operations of a catering company in Washington, DC, and I ran across hundreds of celebrities and politicians when I worked there. It's always cool seeing them in person, and you get surprised that they were taller or shorter than expected, or you may find that they are really cool in person, or on the other side, it can diminish your appreciation of the person, if you find they are a real a$$hole!
So, what celebrity or artist, would you guys WANT to run into, if you could?

I don’t know Dizz, reading the article of Wood’s visit to the museum I understood that his presence was kept secret, I remember reading one of his quote saying “When you are a Rolling stone you can’t just walk into a Museum and freely walk around”
It is possible that your aunt didn’t know until the last moment, but if she knew in advance she should have told you unless she was ordered not to divulge the news.

Yeah I know what you mean I’ve met some other celebrities that made me feel something was missing
Maybe from afar we tend to project something of our own on the person and when we meet the person that something ain’t there.
I Don’t know how it works but with Ronnie Wood he looked exactly as I saw him in the media.

I've met a few of my heroes before. Let's just say I'd rather admire some from afar.

That's how I felt after meeting the members of Cheap Trick while stationed on Diego Garcia back in the early 80's.

A friend of mine flew RW up to the San Juan Islands in a float plane and He gave him backstage passes when the Stones Played Seattle.
He said that he was remarkably down to Earth and a very nice guy....
