REMIX CONTEST:

Philip Selway of Radiohead, is running a "Remix" contest for his song "Beyond Reason". Downloadable WAV files are available at the site, to be used however you see fit.

Prizes

(1) Grand Prize Winner

The Grand Prize Winner will receive $500, a signed vinyl of Familial (which includes a CD), and a year long Platinum Membership to Indaba Music.

(2) Runners-Up

The 2 Runners-Up will receive a signed vinyl of Familial (which includes a CD), and a 3 month Platinum Membership to Indaba Music.

(10) Popular Vote Winners

The 15 most popular mixes will each receive a signed vinyl copy of Familial (which includes a CD), and a 3 month Pro membership to Indaba Music.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty cheap too.

500$ prize on a band I am not crazy about is like 5 cents to me.

I'd rather wait to collaborate with someone I truly admire.

That's straight up bullshit. These contests have been becoming worse and worse with their prizes. But it'll sucker a bunch of teenagers who are tripping over their tongues to "make something happen."
