I have been playing guitar so much lately that my hands have been hurting (insert P word here) LMAO!
I started the day thinking I am going to get some yard work in and work on the songs for the new band! Which I did HUMONGOUS amounts of both! I have been performing and getting ready to perform so much that it has been nice to have a day to myself (me selfish Bastid) Any way the kids and wifey have been at football games all day. I started fishsticks and french fries in the oven (massive amounts) and put my favorite video in the blue ray (Van Halen Right here Right Now)!
DAMN ITS GOOD TO BE ALIVE!

One thing I have noticed about Eddies playing is he is extremely careful about the notes he plays! I think he WANKS more now that it doesn't matter at least to him! This DVD was recorded in what is my opinion "his best days" Man he doesn't play any ORTHIDOX notes quite the opposite and I am Sure that is by design! :D
I think we should all think this way more often I KNOW I AM!

I have seen that before 90db that is something that wasn't the bands fault. However it shows what can happen when you use backing tracks and count on some idiotic sound man to set the pitch right. You can see Eddie trying to adjust for the pitch about half way thru!
That actually happened to me one night our keyboard player had changed the pitch to one song and didn't reset it for the next song (Black Magic Woman) he starts the organ opening part and I come in and I know I am playing the right part in the right key no matter where I went I couldn't find the key he had that thing set to. About 4 bars into it the organ player realizes what he did and he changed it back but it sure did make me look bad it was a big gig with lots of folks watching about 1000 or more needless to say I was PISSED! You just shake something like that off and go on! Lucky for Van Halen that was the last song off the night.
