I've burned myself out on hanging ads and word of mouth. I finally sprung for the $10 and renewed my paid membership. I've also been getting a lot of new BMer's in my area, so I figured I'd do the right thing. :roll:

I did this yesterday, and got an e-mail back today: Guitarist, @ 30 minutes away, close to my age-even has some youtube vids, and he's pretty doggone good! Supposed to call me later on. Now if I get a few responses to the other 20 e-mails I sent out...

1 in 20 is about right by my experience.
Hope it works out for the best.
Sometimes I hate being the " built my band on BandMix " guy.
Makes me look like I'm telling windys. :roll:
