anyone else own a sword?

my lovely wife got me this gem for my 30th birthday(a while back)

My old roommate used to have a sh!t ton of swords that he'd spent thousands of dollars collecting. They were cool, but...I have a lot more fun with my guns.

I love swords and have a few.
Mostly Chinese style, my favorite among these is a nine ring broad sword.

I also have several examples of the Chinese broadsword.
My first steel sword was ( and is ) a Katana.
I carved the scabbard for it myself years ago and cord wrapped the grip.
Have been trained in the sword by several Master Martial Artist, but would not consider myself as a sword master.
Been looking at the combat steel Gladius Hispanicus.

That is an awesome weapon my friend.
We have much in common.

Yeah, but a sword's quieter...as long as you hit the right organ.

I have a fake katana, with throwing stars, in three sizes. I'm sure they each have some sort of name, but I'm woefully ignorant of such things. I also have a single sai (spelling?). I lost the other one when I left it out to rust. I don't remember why I had it outside...I just do the weirdest stuff sometimes!

yeah, it's a beaut, if I say so myself.
Further, I like it even more in that it's for the most part, considered a real workable sword.
Meaning not just for show, but could stand up under the rigors of swordplay.

Not that I really do any of that: but it's just the idea...

Since I don't own firearms, at least I have something to grab & defend my family with.

I don't own any swords but I have a large knife collection. From checking out the website it looks like a quality piece.

I have a leather glove that I slap people across the face with.
Then we have a duel.

Damn. I only have a subversive sense of vengeance and a long memory.


And I can sneak really well.

Fortunately I only need to sneak within about 600m.
