The worst thing here is the fact we seem to only have one part time admin with 1 eye and 1 finger, so he/she isn't around much and doesn't really maintain much that I can discern.

I was on Musician Forest and now there's practically nobody on there within seventy miles of Kansas City. There's always Craig's List and Backpage.com, but usually you get people similar to Thomason contacting you.

I mean cmon, did you think people were going to be kicking your door in to play with you? Do you think everyone will see your profile out of the several here? You gotta send message after message until your head hurts, and I don't mean copying and pasting, I mean personalizing every single message cause people can tell when someone is just making insincere rounds with hopes of hitting something in the dark.

If you want to play bad enough, you would take all the falls and unanswered messages. If you don't want to really try that hard, you better get your style tight and hope to join an established band.
