Not sure how many of you follow Dave Weiner's video blog, but he did a 3 part series on how to tour, what to expect, etc. I found it really interseting. here's a link to the first of the 3 videos.

Thanks for posting that bro! That was pretty much a re-cap to some of the things I've been reading about...but not all of it! This stuff really helps, but like I always say, there's always something nobody wrote about that you have to experience.

As far as touring with me goes, I think I could get pretty simple. I would be willing to neglect showers, and take them weekly. I've done it before. I say for road dogging just buy an old cheap good runnung van and put bunkbeds in it, along with a trailer to haul your stuff in(used and bought preffered).

You could also buy an old miniature RV and do it like that...stove, oven, micro, and fridge included!

Who wants to go travel and play? Let's go man! Time isn't waiting for ya.

Oh yeah, when did you move to Castro Valley Mr. Jams? Didn't you live in P.H. not too long ago?

I've lived the Bay Area all my life, with a small stint in Phoenix AZ for school. Never lived anywhere else, although I think I'm tired of this area now - the music scene really is terrible here right about now :/

oh, Pleasant Hll? I work in Pleasant Hill.

I agree Christian, the music scene does suck here. There's a lot of bands but nothing sounds too great. It seems like the crowds that come to shows aren't as personable as they used to be either.

Yes good videos.
Little surprising hearing a professional musician advocating playing for free.
