Well if you do end up playing with your feet you might want to consider this guy as a band mate.

Here's your bass player: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eskvyuzF1-Y

My husband jammed with Bill onstage at the 2008 NAMM. He's phenomenal.

Nice post Sentient. To be completely honest, I couldn't dream of giving it up. Sometimes you have those moments in life where the vibe is the only tangible thing you have.
Hope everything is well mate.

Well put Chippy.

Been there a time or two. Though music has not been my only vibe.
Things that positively move us emotionally can be a haven in the storms of life.
May be what separates the survivors from those who really LIVE.

I did give it up for over 25 years. Then I was tricked into playing again by a friend in New Mexico. I'm glad he out foxed me that time. Arthritis tried to get the best of me, but my fingers wouldn't let it win the battle. They can still jump through hoops as well as most. :D

Maybe I could give it up again, but the fire would have to go out first. And I don't think that will happen.

Better than most I'd say.

Sometimes I think how much free relaxing time I would have if I just gave it up altogether.. did it for over 2 decades and regretted every minute of it whenever I saw other guitarists play... I guess it's in my blood and I can't just let it go!

I have too much teenage angst and hostility that I still haven't gotten rid of yet so I need/have to play, and too many song ideas collecting dust.

My goal is to get a decent cult following. To break even on independent releases, or draw at least 250 heads a show is making it IMO. Anything else is just a bonus. Anything less is just how life goes sometimes. But doing nothing is an injustice to yourself. f**k if people don't like it. Do you, and do you best. Someone will eventually start to take notice.
