Damn...
The guy lets it all hang out.
He makes up a whole other song in the middle. (or weaves in one of theirs that I haven't heard.)
Check out how much he can hold your attention with music that should be putting you to sleep.

I'd have liked to have heard him go somewhere else, personally.

I used to do this kinda thing all the time, yes, even vocally, if the muse struck while we were playing. It's much fun, if you're with like-minded musos.

I kinda saw a lot of fans losing interest. I have to think Phil is putting right.
That is the worst video I ever watched and wasted 10 minutes. This is not early Allman bros . This is a poor concert.

lol, Glen
I thought it was interesting.
Maybe it's better if you knew the original song.

Really awesome!

Thanks for sharing that. Very emotional performance. Perfect for that song. And they do jam on that tune. I've heard it done differently at different concerts. It gets under my skin too though, because I perform emotionally like that... even more so, on powerful songs. I belong on stages like that, but I have really pissed away time, like it was going to last forever. It doesn't.

Always liked Counting Crows!

Thanks again. Great song... great performance!

They did a much shorter version of it when I saw 'em. They were good, live, too, I must admit.
