Gwen came running in yesterday,There is a big CHOW loose in the yard. She wanted me to chase it away, she had a pretty dangerous run in with a CHOW many years back.
So I go out to chase this beast away,,, The next thing I know is this pup is coming at me full force,,,,
It wasn't a CHOW , it was a big beautiful SAMOY, [don't know if I spelled that right].
As I walked to the front door I was calling for help, Stop Licking me to death.
What a sweet pup and fortunately she had a tag and a phone #. All turned out well when the owner got her back.
I love dogs , I grew up with many of them. I don't have one because you end up loving them so much ,they are as much a part of a family ,as kids.
Just a fun little story. :)

My wife brought home a puppy last weekend.
Mix of Minpin and Applehead.

She's no bigger than a minute. Have a kitten about the same age that's bigger.

Watching these guys play and sleep together is timeless.

Wonder how the 3 80 pounders on the porch will react?

We have 3 dogs, Rat Terrier, Min Pin that is very large for a miniture, I think she might have regular pincher in her and she is a great watch dog. She is very hyper. I think if we got her on some puppy prozac she might be better, she is the one that would attack if someone came into the house univited. We also have a Chug, (Pug/Chiwuawua mix) they are members of the family!

My older boys 28 and 30 are avid gun enthusiest and have been after me to go shooting with them. So yesterday we went to an outdoor range near the house. My sons brought a 7Mag, AR15, and AK47 I was suprised how acurate a shooter I turned out to be (its been a long time) even with an open site at 100 yards with the AK I hit the target roughly (14"x20") 9 out of 10 times.
We also brought handguns Desert Eagle 357mag, 9 Mill, and that Stainless Rossi 38 Special those boys gave me. Again I was acurate as hell. The old man still has it LOL! It was a good day indeed!

I love those dogs and would never do anything to harm them Glen. In fact I just had a $1300.00 vet bill on that Chug last May!

Been trying to get some free time in the mornings when it's cool to get to the range myself.
School starts tomorrow for my sons, both in high school, sports, band orchestra. Days I don't work going to be kind of lonely now.
Pray for cool fronts so I can play my guitar. Played a little this morning.
Already getting hot out.

Thanks Mary, Just trying to share, just as you have , and made many friends.
J, I know you would never hurt a fly. If it makes you feel better I just pulled a 4 inch recluse out of the tub. I had to relocate back outside before any of my family saw it. Poor little guy was screaming,,,,, DON'T KILL ME.

Vet bills ,,,,, More than I would spend on myself, I know exactly what you are saying. Spent more on critters than I would care to admit. :)

Recluse as in brown recluse spider? EWWHH! those things are dangerous. You are a better man than me Glen I would have squashed it flatter than a pancake and then shot it with my 38 special and then I would have sprayed it with bug spray right in the eye's LMAO!

That's so cute!

I have a miniature pincher/chiahuahua mix and a rat-cha (rat terrior and chiahuahua mix). I don't have a pixture of Lady Lucy my rat-cha, but here's Jimi Ray Hendrix, he's my manager, everything will have to go by Jimi before I agree to do it. He makes executive decisions on the fly and so far, he's done right by me.
