Okay, I don't know where this cat gets off that Tommy Tutone's hit Jenny is #1, but . . . I would have picked Bon Jovi "Living on a Prayer" as #1.

And no Depeche Mode? WTF? "Just Can't Get Enough" should have been on this list somewhere.

Thomas Dolby - "She Blinded Me with Science"

Frankie Goes to Hollywood - "Relax"

John Cougar Mellancamp - "Jack and Diane"

Janet Jackson - I wouldn't have chosen "Nasty" but "What Have You Done for Me Lately"

The Clash - "Rock the Casbah"

I never got Dexy's Midnight Runners "Come on Eileen."

I think this is a very difficult list to compile, especially it should go on sales and radio airplay.

Good call on the Depeche Mode and Thomas Dolby. And I agree it's a tough job just to compile the 50. Everyone's list would look different I suppose.

No Toto, no Boy George, no "The cars" no Kiss?

Not easy to make a comprehensive list of anything in music.

That one is a crummy list, Phil.
:?

I'm probably as close as it gets to being a 'product of the 80s' of the regulars that are left here.

Born in 73, so ask me!

:D

Dr. Feelgood... not enough time in the decade to even qualify in my opinion.
Released on September 1, 1989.

A list like this could be argued over for years.

Wait a minute though... Why do I have these recurring fantasies about Angelina Jolie, Halle Barry, Jennifer Love Hewitt, etc...?
