I have been running ads for various things on Craig's List, not just musician's ads. I am getting INUNDATED with spam responses. Apparently many people are setting up automated guerilla computerized spam ad campaigns based on the keywords in your Craig's List ads. This is SICKENING.

There are ppl out there who's sole purpose in life is to ruin things for everyone else.

They should all be put in a big burlap sack & drowned.

No spammer can ever be too poor or too hungry.

The people writing computer programs do.

Did you know that Microsuck has a way to stop all spam?

Did you know that they were going to incorporate that into windows?

Did you know that all the anti spammer program writers took them to court because anti spam programs are big business?

So you have another example of the judicial system sticking it to the American consumer.

Google mail stops almost 100% of the spam I get each week. Hundreds a month and I never see any of them, just the number of them listed in my spam folder.

I am sick of these liberal bastards telling me that everything, from illegal immigration to spam, should be allowed. Even though there are supposed penalties against all of it. They constantly take stands on the side of the law breakers and corruption. Personally, I am a bit more than pissed at those supposedly looking out for "our welfare". Even more than those who are breaking all the laws.

I just ignore it. I mean, I get so many Yahoo posts about how I can get a bigger wanger, penile enlargement, lasting power. Yahoo puts all the stuff I actually signed up for in my spam folder and I get all the spam.

Some funky things going on with CL. I've had people Email for more information on the car I'm selling in some other state. MORE THAN ONCE.

I've gotten E mail saying MY account is closed because of fraudulent activity. Click on this to prevent a PROBLEM.... many very strange Emails. Many strange craigslist addresses.

I would say, NEVER put up an E mail address, Put up a phone #, It is much harder to screw around with CID and most people are serious if they pick up the phone and call.

My friend's ex girlfriend listed his car for sale three times and listed the phone number. They got calls all day long. Phone isn't a good idea.

I don't trust any e-mails regarding my bank account. I never click on any links embedded in those e-mails. I go directly to my online account and handle everything there.
