Well...as some of you know, it's been a long hard road for my band Crowfeather, but...it's all come down to the wire with a new-found focus, song writing, and dedication. I really wish that you all could be at this show to hear the differences in the new material, but...it'll come in time. We're even doing a "cover" of Killswitch Engage's "Rose Of Sharyn"...just for fun :D . Anyway...here's our poster that's all over the place around here and we also made "hand-bills" to pass out as well.

It's the first night in the start of many again, but at least we are doing it in our founding town.

George: You were right about that answer in the message. I kind of knew that you knew what we were about. Anyway...the shirts should be done by this weekend, so I'll be contacting ya :D .

Zip: You love late 80's metal, so wait till you hear the new tune that I'm almost finishing writing right now. It will be the new direction that this band will be adding to the mix.

ROCK ON BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!!!!!! (Especially the ones that Krul's thread is talking about...hehehe)

Nice pic, btw. What's up with that guy with the Spanish-moss-lookin' beard on the far left?

The poster would be nicer if your band looked a bit more audience friendly. Unless your trying to convey the impression that if you show up to hear us we'll be pissed at you. :D

But then. I guess putting on your best "bad look" for a band photo is still what some guys like.

I prefer the posters showing musicians looking like they're having a good time. Perhaps relaying the perception that if they are having a great time playing, maybe I would have a great time listening to them. Nothing personal. Just an opinion. :D

I hope you have a good turnout and get some more gigs from it.

It's metal, SG. They're SUPPOSED to be pissed!

My friend just finished his Metal CD, produced by Fabrizio Grossi. He was told he needs to take new pictures and look meaner. I think metal people expect you to look like you'll get jacked up if you come to a show. Angry like the music. Ha ha.

Good luck with you all!

Hahahahahaha! I told the guys last night at practice about the spanish moss thing and they all about pissed themselves  !!! Especially Jay...we had to take a break after that because he kept laughing whenever he'd look over my way. Good one! Thanks a lot Phil! Hahahahaha!

Thanks for the support from you all.

And as far as the looking mean thing...yeah...all us metalheads tend to do that. Jay calls it the "rock face". Although there's plenty of laughing when we play since Jay does this "it's too heavy" dance during some of the breakdowns. And Hende sometimes rips a sleeve off from his shirt and puts it on his head, then it slides over his eyes and we call him Stevie Wonder. Just a bunch of goof-balls having a good time and not participating or caring about "scene" crap (ie: wearing certain clothes, make-up, fake blood, ect.). It's all about the music for us.

Zip: I can't wait to get it all done and recorded either. Jay keeps saying that George Lynch wished that he wrote this one...but he didn't...I did...hehehe. No breakdowns, no using the drop "C", just straight up old school hard rock/metal with tasteful "Lynch" style leads and such and a ton of inverted chording. Just the way that you and I like it... :D

Actually I think you guys look pretty tame compared to most metal bands.

Your premier is the night after The Farleys break in our new drummer - break a couple of legs!

You pumped for the show or what Metal? You should YouTube it.

Extra kudos if you light things on fire during your set.
