What, another artist getting into politics? Is that the issue? Actually, Haiti has had such a corrupt government for so long, hmmm, don't know. The problem I have with a lot of artists is the fact that many of them really don't get the fact that politics is corrupt. The powers that be make it virtually impossible to do the right thing.

Wyclef has been in contact with the citizens for years. If anyone could do anything for that country it would be him, but that would be one hell of a job. Harder than being the president of the U.S. Haiti is so damned chaotic...and militant.

Nah, it be easy for a dictator.
Kill off the greedy rich and put the poor to work rebuilding their country.
That's why socialism works so well in the short term.
Maintaining liberty in the face of all consuming greed.
Now that is a mean trick.

Wyclef states he isn't giving up. I appreciate how this looks on the surface, but not even four months ago, he was getting called onto the carpet for apparent mishandling of funds which he collected for Haiti after the earthquake.
The only thing I could say to him is: good luck with that.

You could fill two federal prisons and a football stadium with the people whom made a profit off that earthquake.
