On a whim I called about booking a concert at Red Rocks Ampitheatre.
Cost ranges from 65k to 120k.
Yes, I am crazy, but I had a philbymon moment and I want to play it before I die.
That's my final musical dream.
You can go there and walk around on the stage that the Beatles once walked upon any old time, but it's not the same.

If I could raise $100K, I'd be doing it for myself!
LOL @ your "philbymon moment!"
Man, I'd love to play there, too.

I have stood at the top, but never made it down to being on stage...it's pretty amazing, though. You don't realize that you've climbed to such an elevation until you realize that you're gasping for oxygen!

I went there in the mid nineties. Fogerty was sound checking.

he played later that night. I worked right down the street washing dishes at Tony rigatoni's. I stepped out back one night and could hear Jewel singing. Another night I stepped out and heard page and plant going at it. You know U2's Sunday bloody Sunday live video was filmed there. To me that is THE pinnacle for that place.

Heh heh, that's the slot we would want too. The Farleys love to open shows, we set the bar and then sit back and drink
Thanks to all who gave an opinion about our drummer situation, we followed your advice and picked the guy with the most skills and the fewest problems. I already booked a show for Aug.27, giving the drummer two rehearsals to get it together. We sounded fantastic Monday, I can't wait for this.

Red Rock is awesome and has a lot of history. A have family that lives right by the place.
Zip, I don't know what it would take to book a show there, but if you made it happen, I would fly out there in a flash for the show. If you knew a good headliner to put you on, then it would be possible.
