A GREAT ! dream, then i awoke...
Posted: Sat Aug 14, 2010 1:47 pmI dreamed that I formed a new Band. My new drummer, had perfect timing. He used a 4 piece jazz kit. My new Bass player was truly a man with a soul of funk. He played a miked, Upright acoustic Bass. My new Lead guitarist. He played very tastfully, his volume, NEVER drowning out the vocals. He played through a 22 watt, valve (tube) Fender Deluxe amp.
Then of course, there was me fronting my new Band playing Piano. sounding like..... Billy Joel, Mickey Gilley, Professor Long Hair, Billy Powell. My vocals, sounded like a mixture of , Tom Jones & Elvis Presley. Unfortunately, my wife woke me up, right in the middle of my rendition....."I Did It My Way"
