‎"Id" and "Rollin" have made the top 10 on the ezfolk acoustic charts at #5 and #8. Wow Thanks everybody! I'm amazed and honored that you have been playing my music putting my work on the charts (even if it is a small one) BTW "Shallowtown" is still holding the #1 spot.

Wadda ya mean 'Thanks everybody' ?

What makes you think that we are all going there and voting for ya?

Maybe, just maybe, your songs are doing it by themselves.

And "Id" should be number one.

Shallowtown was written about a place near me here. I don't know if you've picked up on what the theme of the song is, but you wouldn't want to raise your children there... or let em spend the night anywhere!

This is great news Hayden BUT are these ratings leading to any CD sales for you? It's certainly nice to get exposure but it's nicer to get exposure AND an increase in your bottom line...

Bob its not all about sales.
They come later if you are lucky.

nope, it isn't making me a penny Bob. I see it as putting in an application at the employment office, and hoping someone comes there looking for what I have to offer.
My original intent of promoting the "first" song was to try to get it noticed.
For now it just feels good 8)

Any publicity is good publicity. The more of these websites you can get your music on the more chances that it WILL lead to a better bottom line. I'm looking forward to the day I have a legitimate CD I can plaster all over the internet. I also have ideas for interesting Youtube videos that will be very inexpensive to produce. Our guitarist just retired from teaching, I'm hoping we can take some more time right now and work towards a studio date SOON. We sound REAL GOOD in my opinion. I've never been in a band that had a sound ike we do at present. I haven't heard ANY band that sounds like us, can't wait to get into the studio.

Some reviews I've received @ ezfolk:

"My friend Terry Brown is right as usual: Hayden King Can write and perform his songs. No one else sounds like you do"

"there's a Hayden King wind stirring in Kentucky"'

"a heartbeat of mystery"

"darkly compelling"

I'm startin to really like that site!
