So, a year ago when I was looking for a band, I couldn't find a band that needed a bass player (other than a couple of thrash metal bands that are still looking as far as I can tell) to save my life.

I now have formed a band. We're within a month of being ready to start booking. Okay, so, the first gigs are going to be sleazy bars which don't pay well, but ya gotta start somewhere and I expect to move on to more upscale places pretty quickly with this band.

So now I'm getting regular offers from bands. Suddenly everybody needs a bass player.

Where were all these people last summer?

aiki_mcr, I have always said bands are a lot like woman. When your with one the hotties are all over you but as soon as you are single nothing, noda, zip no single woman anywhere.

Must be a Texas tradition J

Was going to make the same analogy.

I think it has to do with positive energy flow.

You know, an object in motion tends to stay in motion.
