HI guys, I've built up quite a bit of gear over the years and I'd like to know which reputable companies are out there that insure us musicians. I'm looking for full coverage for any and all occassions. I should also mention that I'm a Canadian...in Toronto to be specific.
If you could, please have a look at the links below and let me know if you've had any experiences with them, and what type of experience they provided for you.

Thanks very much!

You need to hire a private security company to guard your equipment 24 hours a day with sawed off shotguns, then you wouldn't need insurance.

If you earn income as a musician you will have to have your equipment insured separately.
If you are a "hobbyist" you home owners policy will over it.
At any rate no policy will cover replacement cost %100. And it will cost you an arm and a leg to hold the policy.
Insurance is a flooking rip off.
Life is full of risk.

A freinds shed got hit by lightning yesterday and he lost a lot of nice equipment including some really nice vintage guitars. His homeowners won't cover any of it. 40 Gs gone up in smoke !
But its another day in Paradise !!!

ok so it looks like we've found a reason to insure our gear... now which companies are best to deal with?
Last weekend we had a small fire in our kitchen and that got me worried. And I figured, since I'm going to be doing some touring soon anyway, maybe I should insure all of this stuff.
So which companies are best? Please post links
Thanks!
