Progression

This is an example of how you can believe a song
is finished. Then you find yourself in a position with
another set of ears on it and they hear it differently
than you do. If you believe in this other person and
their musical ability. Like me, you may open up to this and
entertain recording it again. I've always enjoyed
hearing other peoples interpretation of my music.
When I decided to rerecord "Hard Life" I wanted to
let this guitarist have free rein.
As it turns out, I love both versions and regret nothing.

I put these songs up for your thoughts and opinions.
I respect your thoughts and opinions.

On my profile #12 & #15
"Hard Life" 15 was the first version, listen to it first.

I for one thought #12 is the winner for me.
I heard a little less lead playing thru the verse(which I think detracted in #15)
And #12 lead tone is just cleaner & seems to fit well with your voice.
#12 comes out polished to my ears.

Very good lead playing, despite it not being my style, per se.

My very humble .02

#12

Cleaner more defined instrumentation.

Well done.

Awesome vocals!
I like #12 better. It's more up-beat to my ears.
