Chris, THIS is the very essense if jammin', to me. Note - there's no autotune, no effects, no looping...it's ALL JARREAU, & right there he shows how versatile, how accomplished, & how entertaining he can be.
Whether you like jazz or not, you gotta give the man his props, or else show me that you can breathe, scat, & adapt to a song like that.
Thanks, Chris...& no, I'm not feeling especially morbid, but there's been some sad news out there that Craig hasn't been telling us about.
I hope his hand gets better quick.

Chris - I just played that for Jace. He's been rather fussy & uncooperative this morning...yet as soon as that started playing, his entire demeanor changed. He was mesmerized, not even rocking & wriggling & banging his hands like he usually does with music. He just sat & STARED at the screen, like it was the most amazing, the most interesting thing he'd ever seen.
That was so cool...then, when it was over, he said "More?"
I guess I'll hafta teach him how to beat-box, sometime...
