Real cozy rehearsal space you've got there James. The Beatles are not easy to cover. It sounds simple, but it's not.

Hi Bob,

I totally agree.

Also the Beatles arrangements and how they layered the instruments can also sound simple yet are quite complex. I use the computer 'band' a lot right now to help me learn how to play the material. Doing the vocal well and being able to play some of those riffs is still hard for me.

I've got maybe 20 songs that I play right now. Of those songs 10 are solid the rest still need more practice.

Are you guys going whole hog, like Vox amps and Ricky guitars? Man, if you could find a couple of Vox Super Beatles, that would be cool! 8)

An Epiphone Casino will get you that twangy Beatle sound, and they're not very expensive.

I lived in Knoxville for one year (1980?). It was one of the nicest places I ever lived and the fishing was great. I used to fish below Melton Hill Dam and Fort Loundon Dam. Awesome places to fish. I saw a fishing show on TV a about a year ago from below Melton Hill Dam. They were catching striped bass. The locals down there call them Rock Fish. If I ever can retire I would consider moving back to the Knoxville area. Don't know if I ever can afford to retire. I better get to recording and selling my CD, maybe then I could retire someday...
