An auspicious start for a new singer

It looks like I might have a new singer for the group. (but - ask me again in a month or 2)
But, still . . .
.
We met on Friday at "Perk on Main," in Durham.
But - before meeting me, she had done her homework. She rehearsed some of my original songs, and was already able to join in with me, singing 2 of my original songs, as a duo.
. . . sounded good, too . . .
.
That was Friday.
On Sunday, she performed another 2 originals with me & our bass player at 'Old Orchard Farms,' in East Lyme.
.
Last night, Monday, we performed 2 songs at the 'Buttonwood Treehouse,' in Middletown. (After the performance, we were invited to perform at a special event)
.
Just met her Friday, and by Monday we've already performed at 3 different venues, in 3 different towns . . .
.
Yep, I'd call that an auspicious start . . .

I call that cool.
Perhaps that is an understatement or simplification.

But I am a simple kind of guy.

Kudos RM.

Good for you, RM.

Keep trying, Cap. You can't win if you don't play...

Now, remember - I only met her on Friday, and this was taken on a Monday.
So tell me, guys - is she a keeper?
:)

No.

Soon as I get a couple of full pay periods behind me I am either going to repair or totally replace this computer.

She has a nice voice for your style, Alan!

Sounds great Alan, and the most impressive thing is she learned the material BEFORE getting together with you. Not too many people these days do their homework. Hope this works out well for you...

She composes, too . . .
:)
I found out that she'd been looking for a guitar player for almost as long as I'd been looking for a singer . . . sounds like the makings of a new song . . .

Awesome man. She has a nice sultry voice, real smooth, dead on it seems. It’s going to be fantastic a few months from now. Cool performance by the way, half jazz blues is a fun sounding tune. :)
