I just a behringer 1280s 1200 watt board. i have 2 passive peavey 215s. i also want to buy some monitors and i'm not sure if i need powered ones or not. your help would greatly be appreciated see'n as i'm pretty new to the equipment part of this.

I am not familiar with that mixer but most of those powered boards have powered moniter sends as well. I would read the manual and determine whether you need powered or unpowered monitors. If you don't have the manual I am sure you can find it online somewhere.

Yes. It looks like you just have a Left and Right mains that are powered. You could get a Behringer power amp for a few pennies at MF. <-- (OOH, that looked dirty}
