Man I've been sending our E's and searching for a keys person for an acquaintance I've made through our recent gigs.

No response = dismal.

God bless and keep our little band together ... please.

Keyboarders are the hardest ppl to find, imho.

Good luck, sans. You may have a leg up in your search, though, since there are so many organists in churches...or there used to be, anyway...

If I were you, I'd be calling churches & asking them.

Now why did I not think of that ?

Actually it is a Church for whom I seek the keys. Not for myself.
Church folk kind of frown on you stealing their organist.

Don't forget to check out your local theater, too. They almost always have a keyboardist or two in the wings.

Sorry, I thought you needed it for your band...

No need of apology Phil.
I always appreciate input. Why else would I bother to post?
I'd be afraid to change anything with NKF right now.
Best I can tell the level of cooperation and room for personal input and growth we have going must be pretty rare indeed.

I'd forgotten how hard I worked to find players the first time.

Isn't there a local college or two. Also what about music stores? ALSO...recording studios generally have access to musicians.
