How the hell can one ex woman turn me into an inferno of rage and jealousy with one well crafted line or 'innocent' picture?
It's been almost a decade. I have a new partner and a new baby boy.

I swear man, I'm Jeckyl and Hyde.
I go from mother theresa to marshall mathers quicker than the wind can change direction.

Capt. Scott, give me a left jab, so It can rattle my brain back to normal.

Are you giving away control? It's bound to get bone-deep fugly when you do that, & you can blame no one but yourself.

Yeah, I know...I'm the king o' the rant & sh*t...& I had a lil episode, myself, lately, of going ape-shit.

It happens. But it can ONLY happen when you give your control of your emotions away, when you hand someone else the steering wheel. Ppl take great glee in flippin' yer switch, Zip. It's human nature (& I swear I think women love it more than men).

She's just moving on, man. She ain't doing anything "to" you, but simply doing things "for" herself. If she's sent you a pic, it's prolly to cement that fact in her own mind, & perhaps it wasn't even meant to tweak your responses. On the other hand, maybe it was a mean thing, done with malicious intent (I don't know her or her intentions), but even if so, you gotta ask yourself - "so what?" Are you not doing better now than you would be if you stuck with her?

Jealousy? Was that relationship even worth the emotional investment? You gotta let it go. You've already moved on, physically. Time to finish the job.

Sell your baggage, man. Toss it in the nearest dump. Seriously - picture yourself tossing it out in your mind's eye. Shut down or throw away the emotions, & you have a better chance of getting by without the irrational rage. There are some ppl you just cannot "work things through with."

Keep your sense of humor. It's the best tool you have in dealing with this kind of sh*t, & it completely disarms those who would control your responses.

Take it to Dad. I know I'd have to.

He's got all the answers.
