Don't get too hot (or sunburnt)!

It has barely cracked 80 this year, so far.
Usually, come July it shoots up into the 90s and stays there into the first part of September.

Been lovin it so far.

Oh and we had a tornado warning in the area for the first time since I've been on this planet.
(maybe ever)

Already been 97 - 98 degrees here.
Soon to be > 100.

Philby are you OK ? You have been so nice and caring. I was just wondering if you didn't get a touch bit to much of vitamin D. Remember fishin' can be a dangerous sport. I allways wanted to try that catfish wrangling , where you stick your arm under a rock and pull out a big catfish.

Or an alligator.

Or a Cotton mouth or a big snapper. Sounds like fun to me. I watched a program about that on public TV. There is a strange name for it, but I can't pull it out of the trash pile in my mind at the moment. Noodling, I believe.

Certainly NJ is in the pipe as regards weather again. After all of that rain and promises of this storm and that, with nothing coming we are now bathing in air born swimming pools

We're above our average seasonal rain fall by a couple of inches already. That makes for some pretty soggy rides. It has been raining about 4-5 days a week.
Folks don't even yell hello to their neighbors anymore when they see then sitting on the porch. They yell "Ahoy there matey"
But it's nothing compared to what a lot of people are going through.

They are a pretty ugly fish with a huge mouth and nasty spike teeth in a real slimy mouth. I had a 20 Lb one chase me out of its territory once. In about thirty feet of water this bugger chased me about twenty feet biting my fins and putting holes in them. Like a little dog very hard stop a little nip.

Next, Shark wrestling anyone?
