I like this & I don't know why

Yes I do know why I like it, now that I think about it - it's unique music. I don't get the Brit references & lingo, but I think ppl should check this band out.

Note - I have a very strong dislike for rap, house & r & b, yet they're all in there, as well as other influences.

I find this to be very different. I could be wrong. If there are other artists that sound like this, tell me about them.

I'm not saying that they're great musicians, either. They aren't. They ARE what I would consider to be unique, though, & 'unique' is what I personally think we should all be striving for, as musicians & as song writers - a sound that sets us apart, that each of us can call his/her own.

When I hear it, it makes me smile every time.

edit:

No, that's their thread, where they ask for a label for their genre.

Here's the profile page w/the music:

While I cannot honestly say I "like" their music I do have to say that I was taken with the originality.
So much so I was unable to lump them into a classification.
That for sure is good.
And I wish them luck.

Yeah, it hit me like that at first, too, sans.

They remind me of Sublime, in their spirit, if not in their sound.

That's some interesting music, though, ya gotta admit.

I don't think I've ever heard much piano in a reggae thing, before, either.

Weird memorable sound, though, for sure!

AND...this is the coolest part...they use REAL instruments, not sampled keyboard crap or drum machines.

It might seem a bit loose in places, but it is some of the coolest new stuff I've heard to date, even though I'm no rap fan...maybe it's the accent...nah...it's the approach.
