The Firebird
Posted: Mon Jun 07, 2010 6:55 pmI took in the last DSO concert of the season yesterday, which featured Liszt's Piano Concerto No 1, Mozart's Symphony No 35 and Stravinsky's "The Firebird". The Firebird was amazing; I got full body chills for the entire finale. Yes often opens their concerts with the finale from this piece (if you have "Yesshows" or "An Evening With Yes" you know). But seeing the full orchestra do it was amazing.
