Honestly, this video has been circulating for days. I'm amazed no one has posted it before this. My guitar player opines that the drummer is the show, even though the camera keeps following the guitar player.

What really floors me is that in listening, he's really not overplaying. His timekeeping is good. To be that over the top and still be musically correct is, well, amazing.

I'd hate to have to fight that guy. I'll bet he knows 50 ways to slap you upside the head.

He's like Chris Farley, Chuck Norris, and Neil Pert all rolled in one.

The guy at the wedding was amazing. I've seriously never seen anything like that. I was just telling my wife that there's no describing him... you simply have to see it.

As far as the kid goes, he's already forgotten more about drumming than I'll ever know, and I'm 40.

You know, he made some noticeable mistakes. But none that I haven't seen drummers several times his age make. By the time this kid is in his twenties he's going to pretty much trash any competition.

Talent: Check.
Dedication: Check (as far as I can tell).
Practice: Well, check so far.

That's awesome.

Bet there's a reason they picked yellow...

To blend with the sweat stains.

He's annoying the heck outta me. :x

Good God, Man! Look at that stickwork... I'm VERY amazed. Love the double kick, too, although you'd NEVER use them in a ZZ TOP song.

Yeah, but he recovered from them immediately, that's the real trick!

I must have missed that one.

I wouldn't worry about him with a katana so much. But give him a jo and you've be in big trouble.

(The 'aiki' in my handle started because I was an Aikido instructor until I had to get a paying job.)

I took two karate lessons, when I was in my thirties. I had to quit when they kept laughing at my horse stance. They told me I looked like I was trying to take a sh*t.

It's hell having the coordination of a retarded octopus!
