Joined Facebook recently to find long lost friends. Found one from elementary school (late 60's early 70's) and one from high school (1975-76). Has anybody else joined Facebook to search for long lost friends? It's an amazing thing to hear from people you haven't seen in decades. I have always wondered what happened to people I knew from my childhood. One of my best friends from the 60's has been in and out of trouble with the law, I'm not surprised.

I have bcoem friends with people that I went to school with. Three of my old students, from the nineties, have found me. One became a musician. Another is a business woman who clings to her flute. It is cool to find "old" students who have actually been influenced by me.

I guess I don't want to know anyone from my past. It's all I can do to put up with people from my present.

I finally got to talk on the phone with a friend who I last saw in 1971! What an incredible thing to hear his voice again after all these years. I knew him in Needham, Massachusetts in the late 60's early 70's. I found out he spent some time visiting the Kansas City area (where I am now) back in the late 90's early 2000's. It would be amazing to meet him again. We were big sports rivals in my neighborhood. He probably wouldn't believe it seeing my band perform today. He's the only one I found so far on Facebook or Myspace. One other kid I knew back then has been in and out of trouble with the law. Don't know if I want to contact him...
