I went down to the Magic Stick last night to see They Never Sleep. This is Mike Hard's new band (formerly Godbullies and Brainsaw). They were the first band on, and not nearly as good as Brainsaw was. Gone are the dual guitarists, the guy they have was OK but nothing spectacular. The drummer was just OK too. That sucks because Mike is one of the best frontmen around and Karen Neal (bass) is just damned sexy! Next on was Timmy's Organism, a local punk band that pretty much sucked. Third in the lineup was NoBunny; I liked this band. They dressed up like rabbits and were very high energy. The music was a strange mix of country and punk with a 50's flavor. Very tight, cool band. Last on was The Spits, typical three-piece punk.

I went and saw these guys a few monthes ago and I cant remember their name, but the wore these pig mask and and german helmets. One of the guys played an electric banjo cranked! To me it was typical sub atomic punk. I couldnt understand a word they said on the mic, but then after it was over and I talked to the guy with the banjo I couldnt understand anythign he said in person. LOL

Yep rabbits. Pretty hilarious. But they were damned good. They even had little bunny masks for sale at their merch table.

They have a full touring schedule, so plenty of people like them I guess!

The guy on the left seems like the shy one of the bunch.

I think you would have dug the music Craig. They obviously rehearse and play a lot, very tight music. They did an interesting version of "It's So Easy To Fall In Love" too.

The guy on the left looks like he didn't get the "dress up for the photoshoot" memo..lol

My guess is he's the drummer. They do what they want anyway.

I can tell Jimmy drummers are your least favorite dude in the band these days!

Heh heh, yeah drummers are like a good pie crust - flaky. I'm waiting for a Japanese company to come out with RoboDrummer. Of course they need to be able to fight with their gf before the gig, miss practices, get thrown in jail and develop serious drug abuse problems to be realistic.

LOL ... My drummer does not even drink that I know of.
Me on the other hand ... well ... y'all know.
