No longer "cap and trade" The first disguise.
President obama has openly said " under my plan energy is going to cost more"
Your $200 ,$300 electric bill ,,Acient history.
$10 a gallon of gas, Right around the corner.
$5 bagel ,you bet! $20 dollar loaf of bread, you asked for it.
New guitar strings,$100 a pack. You asked for it you got it.
This is going to come under guise of "save the planet"
Discussions in congress have already renamed this the "American Power Act"
This not about clean air or saving the planet,, This is about taking as much money away from ordinary people musicians like us ,as can be stolen in one fell swoop. This about taking all your individual powers and rights away from you. The very rights that our CONSTITUTION GUARANTIES TO EVERY FREE MEMBER OF THIS GREAT NATION.

We have tremendous natural gas reserverves, enough to power every diesel truck in the states for 50 or more years ,and heat every home ,and power all our electric plants. You want clean power ,, big start.

Why was BP such a big contributor to the obama campaign?
why does goldman sachs own 10% of the yet to be opened CHICACO CLIMATE EXCHANGE
obama Has totally Ignored the natural gas industry even though corps are building filling stations for trucks and having a real positive environmental impact. [THOSE EVIL CORPS] CLNE [clean energy] has probably single handedly reduced pollution in the southwest by 10%

This is not about pollution and energy, this is about power ,control, and transfer of wealth.

Start laughing  All the wealthy people are buying GOLD,any one seen the price latlely. And when our govt starts to shut down legal gun shops and you allow it.... KISS YOUR FREEDOMS GOOD BYE!

Glen, I think thats the smartest thing I've ever seen you type.

The administrations newest thing is 'information control'.
Their goal is to make sure the 'right' information is out there.

On the one hand, it really tweaks my angriest responses, but on the other...maybe something should be dons to keep us from being so wasteful (did I say that out loud?!?!?!).

We US consumers pay less for gas than anyone in the world, save the oil producers, & I always wondered why. It comes down to our using so much of it, & buying more than anyone else. Now, other countries are rivalling our use.

Is his plan to make more profits for the energy industry, or to take in more in taxes to pay for gov't services? It doesn't matter in the end, to the consumer, who WILL use less energy, which is a good thing.

It'll wreak havok on the cost of everything, though. Looks like we're in for yet more rough times. Gee...thanks, BO!

Yeah Phil, Every one agrees that waste is wrong. To all the kids out there ,TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. :)
The only reason gas is cheaper here than in the nations across the pond is taxes. We have not reached the point where we are tacking on another $3 in taxes on a gallon of gas.

But once again you bring out the main point, raise energy cost and it just gets passed on down the line, to you and me, and every other hard working American.

Funny ,obama just proposed new taxes on the oil industry to pay for this spill.
Funny ,all the corps have said they will pay whatever it takes to correct the situation.
So why are we going to have to pay in the form of new federal taxes?

That's what got us into this mess. Sorry, sans, but when you use up resources in the name of your capitalistic profits, you leave less for everyone, & it eventually comes back to bite us all in the butt. Even you.

It's like saying "I'm hungry & rich, so I'll just eat that very last pair of (insert endangered species here), cuz I can afford it."

Everything has its limit, & we've been more than a little wasteful of energy.

Phil you have some good ideals, about sharing ,and making sure there is enough for all.

This about the few that want control that, and as human nature has shown us from past history, people are not ready to move up to a more noble system than the doctrine that formed our great country.

This is not simple stuff , To be a truly great leader in todays world ,,,, who am I kidding,
NOT GONNA HAPPEN.
Now you scared me.

What I find amusing is that US people gripe about $4.00/gallon at the pump, but never blink at the grocery store about paying $2.00/quart (1000ML) for bottled water ?? errrr..... that's $8.00/gallon if my LA "edumacated" math skills are right ! I guess that's $4.00 for the H
and $2.00 for each O !!!
