Man that is scary to me not funny.
If he really bought those shoes not knowing they had circuits, he could have just as easily been an unwilling participant in a bombing attempt.

Well, he knew they had circuits, cuz he explained that they had batteries & such. It DOES seem rather odd that someone would wear these things into an airport & expect to get away with it, doesn't it?
Perhaps you're right, though, & he didn't know it was a bombing attempt.
I can see someone trying to steal his shoes to combine them with the rest of the bomb...LOL...that would make a good comedy skit! I might hafta write that one!
