Does any have any good recording programs they could tell me about? I'm using a Acoustica program(BandMix). Every one says the recording is bad. I use a Kamaka ukulele tenor, it has a Fishman Active pick-up installed. I just plug into my computer, and start recording. If you used a good program to do your recordings, please turn me on to it. why dont you listen for yourself and let me know at http://www.isound.com/music/ukulele_boy/ THANK YOU

Go back over past posts.
There are several multi-page postings here on this very subject.

Hey UB,

Yeah , after listenin to your tunes I found your signal to noise ratio alittle high...Also the signal its self not near hot enough....
What Ive learned about digital recording is that your interface carries ALOT of weight in the outcome of your recording...Also, how good your analog to digital and digital back to analog converters are...You can be runnin a great program but have a crappy sound card or interface and your quality wont be much better than a 4 trk cassette. Heres a link that helped me tremendously to get with the 21st century.

I've learned alot from that site too! That's a GREAT site for electronic music and computer recording.

Hey Craig,

Yeah , I have to laugh (but not too hard....yet.... :P )...I thought knew quite a bit till I took that HUGE test.. ..I barely got a C...Sure changed my conception about MIDI...Ill still be an old analog guy at heart but trackin in the virtual world of key up key down doesnt suck....
