Sean, put something together. Create a complete song, find a singer, find a rythm section and maybe a keyboard. Your repetative solo posts are getting old. Its obvious you have talent, just think a little bigger.

Missing my headphones right now, but from what I can hear on my laptop speakers....

I'm very impressed Sean!

I especially liked alot of the two handed tapping/slapping work, where your hands look like they are almost conducting an orchestra or something... very smooth, coordinated and cool looking! You pulled out alot of different styles and tricks, and seriously... I'd give someone my left nut if I could play like that!

Why aren't you in a band?

Your talents are being wasted.

It seems to me, you have taken to heart some of the advice others have given you here, and they are still bitching. You deserve a little more support than that. Maybe it's jealousy?

My former lead guitarist was one of the best in the Atlanta area, and you wipe the floor with him.... no joke.

You have already heard some criticisms about mixing things up, rather than all-out wanking from start to finish... the main thing I would like to see you develop is some more stage presence, and showmanship... but you are playing in your basement, or wherever... and maybe on a stage, with a full band, it would be a different story?

I wish I could find someone with your talents, here in my area!

Keep it up!

Get yourself an equally talented band, so you can RIP IT UP, all over the continent, cause time has a way of slipping away, far too fast!

Yeah he's a master at sounding like someone else..

Oh and playing in his bedroom. (sorry I forgot it was Carnegie Hall)

good luck with that..

I'd rather be dead than un-original.

Try pumping a cover or anything that sounds like you, instead of Eddie.

No one wants to tune in to see some kid doing lackluster copies of Eddie, let alone anyone else.

WHERE IS YOUR OWN GUITAR VOICE?

DO YOU EVEN HAVE ONE>? I listened to your stuff twice now.
Next time I will request a pillow and a blanket, unless you deviate from your comfort zone.

Oh and stick a gun to someones' head so you can actually get them to play with you. That way you can dump the canned crap. (no offense to your creamed corn)

PS: the chap with 1 arm plays better EVH than you do.
Better get your own voice before you have cosmetic surgery or it will all be for naught.

GET YOUR OWN STYLE, everyone steals from someone but the key is to make it yours. You are just poking around like a dog pissing on an electric fence and the finish is almost at hand.

Craig, do we need to take your temp? Are ya feverish?

Thanks Craig, the hardest thing in music is finding the right people to play with. It's hard man!!

I have very high respect for your abilities, Sean, but it amazes me that you would post your solo practice sessions as if they were a finished product.

C'mon! Go to as few open mics, & stay humble, & you might find ppl to work with, or at least do a lil demo with that would be far more worthwhile to us, the listeners.

Your skills are top-notch, as far as I can see & hear, but they're so wasted on these vids.

What happened to the drummer you did some stuff with? Surely you could find someone to do something with, even if they aren't up to your standard of musicianship. Find some humble guy witrh average chops, & let him be your backdrop. you're good enough that he will want to brag about doing anything at all with you, once it's on youtube.

Well, I think one of the best ways he has to let people know of his skills, so HE CAN get a band together, or other good musicians interested, is to SHOW THEM on video, what he does.

And if that is true, should he make one video, and let the thread die, and hope that new Bandmix members look through the ARCHIVES to find him playing on a previous video?

And if he just reposts the same vids, what would the opposition be on that? "Hey Sean... don't you have something new to post ever? You keep posting the same old sh*t!!!"

It's not like he posts one new video per day or anything.

Cut him a break. He has listened to the advice here, and made new videos, SHOWING some diversity, and that he is trying to please people here a little, and listen to their advice, and it seems like he is still getting trashed.

I honestly don't see what else he is supposed to do?

He may very well be pursuing every avenue he can, to find other musicians.

Maybe he could move? (Preferably to FLORIDA!) 8)

Maybe you're right, Craig. I dunno what's available in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

I'd be easier on him if he could do some multi-track stuff, though, too. I mean, it's nice to see his stuff & all, but I'd really prefer to hear it in some sort of context.

I thought about doing something for him actually.

But I am so BEHIND on music I have promised, that I need to get certain commitments done first.

In any event, he is VERY talented, and I wish him the best.

I don't want to see that level of talent not reach it's fullest potential!

OOh so you think you are better than John Denner huh?

Guess again.

Oh and btw, neither are you Craig.

But your mouth is def bigger.

I don't know what you angle is today Craig but I don't care what it is either.

If you really think he's that good, well all i can say is good for you.

John Denner and his 1 arm blows the sh*t out of more than half us here.

Sean, cut off your arm and you have a chance.

Craig, may as well keep yours cause you still don't have a fing clue. All you do is babble. Do you ever stop? Ever?

More visual and audible beat down for the EVH wannabe and anyone else that needs clarification.

You beloved Eruption is here

To play badly is bad, but to emulate someone else to ad nauseum is a joke. Go forth and search for what is YOU, if there is any..anywhere.
