A new song on my profile.

I wrote it last night for someone very special to me...

Beautiful! Reminded me of Iommi's quiter moments. I was worried when you posted it briefly this morning and then took it down.

Thats an awesome composition colors! I love the guitar work, especially the melody.

I needed to make sure that the person it was intended for got to hear it first. It's her song. It's for her...


I feel a little guilty even sharing it. I don't know if I'll keep it up for long. But I felt so much beauty in that piece when I wrote it last night. It just flowed right out of me...

Colors I saw you post this earlier and then it as gone. Prob a hiccup.
Anywho this is wonderfully played, love your style. I just wish I could find someone of your caliber that would be interested in doing stuff? I know they are out there, I'm sure I'll find them.

It wasn't a hiccup; I took it down intentionally after I put it up this morning. I just wanted to make sure that the person I wrote it for got to listen to it first, before anyone else.

Very nice, CF! One of the guitars should be a classical, with nylon strings, for better distinction between the two instruments, imho.

Trying to save some money now for an electric acoustic so I can perform with my singer. I've written 11 new songs in the past month. I want to get vocals written for all of it and go do some duets. I am really liking what I'm doing right now. Very motivated to do my own stuff.

The target audience for the piece loved it, and she's the one whose opinion mattered the most to me...

I haven't been this proud of a work in a while.

Usually I just let my fingers come up with whatever, and let them go. This time, I was actually intentionally trying to evoke a certain mood, and a certain visual that was stuck in my head. I had a starting point, and I didn't know if I could hit my target or not.

And when it was done... I nearly wept.

I am here looking across the lake waiting for another beautiful sunset. Your expression in this song has nothing but a heartfelt joyous celebration and everlasting beauty. You Sir, are a man with very deep rooted feelings of love.

The recipient is blessed to know you.

That was beautiful !!

I almost got all melancholy n stuff.
