Don't ever have kids if you think you're hot sh*t, cuz they'll just rub that sh*t on ya...& then THEY'll have kids who'll rub it on ya, too, just as you start thinking you're safe & it's YOUR KID'S TURN to handle that sh*t!

And, of course, as you're hollerin' "oh CRAP," & meaning it, they'll laugh atcha, & give ya that "OOOO, YOU!" that you use on them all the time...

Children are NOT for ppl who wanna stay nice & clean...or crapless, as it were...

I'm NOT having a very good time, today!

I wanna KILL the lil bastid, but he's so frikken cute, even when he's rubbin' crap all over ya, ya can't help but laugh as you're tryin' not to pukilate all over him!

I would amend that...most people should not have kids.

If there is a reason I am here (and you should know I don't believe there is) then it was to father my children. They are that awesome.

Have a better day tomorrow Phil.

He was at work. His hours don't allow him to pick the child up in time at day care, just like my wife's, so I get the wonderful daily duty of getting him & entertaining him for three hours daily, until they get here.

I usually don't mind, & Jace & I have a lot of fun, so don't think I really resent it or anything, but there ARE those days when I'd really rather not, truth be told...& on those days, it seems like a crappy chore, to coin a phrase.

He still gets sick a lot, too. I think the barometer has much to do with it, & there's not much harder for me to deal with than a screaching child that can't communicate what's wrong so I can at least try to fix it. Funny how he was never sick at all before the operation...but I'm trying not to blame the Dr...

Finger painting is all part n parcel to the whole genie gig man.
I was sick most of yesterday and all last night.
Feel like I been beat with a bat.
I can thank my grandson for that one.
I'll deal with a little crap any day.
And being a nurse it mostly every day. :(

I suggest spreading a sheet of plastic out in a doorway. Then put him in a Jimmy Jumper in that dooway. He then can DOO the 3 Ps all he want with easy clean up. Also an added feature is you can throw things at him and make him laugh.

God's trying to soften you up, and also, give you a re-do on your own son's upbringing! This "set up" of circumstances, wasn't an accident brother.

Go ahead an flame me... I'll still care about you, whether you want me to or not! ;-)

I suppose that's one way of looking at it, Craig.

You could also say it's karmic payback for all the times I painted the wall with my own crap as a baby...or took things apart & lost the parts...or shook my lil fist at my mom & said "OOO, YOU!"

Eh...it's life, & I deal with it pretty well, overall, but there are times & just gotta bitch about something.

Thank god you're all here! I can VENT without making my son feel bad about his situation!

:D

All in all, man, I'm loving life in spite of the little difficulties! And it IS pretty funny, now that it's a yesterday problem instead of today's.

Oh, hell, not something else in common!?

My mom tells me that I did that once too!

Parents quickly learn...

When kids are ALONE... beware sudden laughing outbursts coming from their rooms... RUN AND CHECK!

When kids are TOGETHER... beware lengthy silence... RUN AND CHECK!
