Guilty feeling

Grrr.
I was at GC yesterday trying out all the guitars on the rack. I've needed a replacement so I can fix-up my only guitar and not have to go without one while I do the work on it. I tried the 500 dollar ones, the 600 dollar ones, the 1000+ ones and was pretty frustrated because I really didn't like the feel of any of them. I got up and was walking out the door when I spied a little two cent Ibanez. Picked it up and liked it better than all the ones I tried, so I said screw it - and bought it. I put new strings on it as soon as i got home and other than needing a little intonation tweakage, it plays like a charm.

I feel cheap, and yet very satisfied :)

I know the feeling.. ive played in there with the big money guitars, and my cheap little Epiphone SG that i've had for 10 years plays better.. Except for some of those PRS guitars.. and a telcaster or 2, lol.

Hmm I wish. I play Kramers because they have the features I want (HSS) and a feel I like-

But, frankly, the only guitars I've ever truly loved are all over $4k. There's a huge difference IMO in quality.

Don't feel guilty! :D

I love Ibanez!

I think they make some of the best guitars at the price point they are.

Well if it makes you feel any better my guitars range from a 200 dollar second hand special to a 1200 dollar flying V.
I play the 200 dollar one 80% of the time.

I'd rather have beer taste on a champagne budget than verse visa...

Well I guess I wasn't the only one drooling on guitars yesterday.

I bought an Ibanez PF acoustic, very good for the money.
